    Not really. You can get indexed in a few hours if you know how to spread your link on the web.

    My websites got indexed so fast by google it was mind boggling. Although I'm using amazing forum software(not VB, eww)

    It took me a few weeks. It is a lot of work to get recognition from Google. A lot of people competing for their serps.

    1- Don't submit your site to search engines and don't create backlinks for a fresh domain.
    2- Adsense might disable your account. They don't like paid traffic.
    3- Paid traffic helps your site to get indexed faster and ranked better.

    You have to weight some time 24 hour time not so more for indexed by Google or some other search engine. Keep posting your URL in the high PR directory and book marking site.

    most of my domains mamaged to get indexed in a matter of hours after submitting my new domain to over 2500 whois websites: just type in imtalk.org and get an account there... then type in your website and keyword and click on start... thius has worked best for me to be honest
