My website got many spam comments

    Well everyone seems to be recommending Akismet, so just to be awkward, I will recommend Growmap Anti Spam Bot (WP plug-in) since using this my site has gone from 70 odd spam comments to just 1 or 2.

    I suggest you trash all your spam comments and purge them from the system, they will do no good and will just take up space in your database.

    I would recommend akismet like everyone else aswell . Helps me a lot.

    +1 to @tiddles. I absolutely agree with @tiddles. GASP is an excellent anti-spam plugin created by Andy Bailey who is the creator of CommentLuv. GASP has helped reduce the number of spam comments on my blog as well which used to slip through Akismet.

    Use akismet and if that doesn't work use some sort of capcha plugin for example capcha plugin which rain21 mentioned. but i haven't tried that.
