    Hi,
I am providing social bookmarking services using a website. Recently one of my friend re-designed it and all went well.

    the urls is http://socialsubmit.info/

I am having Windows vista and IE 8.0. After he completed the design my site looked perfect in my browser IE 8.0, firefox and chrome. So i uploaded his design. but then I found out that my sales were going down. So when i checked I found that my website design looks awful in IE 6.0 while it works in IE 7.0 and IE 8.0.

Can anyone please help me in this regard. My friend is a bit new to designing and he says that it's a issue with IE 6.0 but he is not sure.\

Is there any way with which we can make the present design work in IE 6 or should I look for a new designer?
    please help.

Not many people are supporting IE6 anymore. My portfolio, in my sig, isn't even supporting IE6. I believe Google just sent an email out about it on how they are discontinuing support as well.

Here is the Google Notice you should take a moment to look at. I think it's time we put IE6 and other ancient browsers to bed.
Time to upgrade for those who still haven't.

I am very well aware of google's notice. I too got that email few days ago. But still I can't afford to loose sales because of IE 6. Still many people in the world are using IE 6 and i cannot ask them to update to IE 7 to view my site. I can still provide a sentence like "Site Best viewed in IE 7.0 and above". So is there no way i can make this design work in IE 6?

Some people do specialize in old browser programming. I, for one, have quite a bit of experience getting sites to look good in all browsers. I could take a look and give you a quote if you are interested.
