My website appears in Search engine as " | title"

    I asked this question here and it was deleted.My website title says <title>my title</title> but in search engine when I search for my keyword it is shown as | my tite and my about page as About | my title.
    Can you please tell me what should I change to appear it normal,ie I just need my main title to be displayed in all my pages and posts in the search results.
    I am using wordpress

    Who knows? Look at your source code. Search Bots can only display what they crawl. Somewhere on your page when you got crawled that is what they found. You may have already changed it by now, so in that case all you need is patience.

    Make sure that you check following content in tags:
    The 2nd has been used by this forum, too.. :)

    Open your template and Edit your 
    <title>....</title>
    Code (markup):
    Look for the " | " for the search reference. You just need to be careful editing this.
