    Doesn't make sense...?

    If you mean you site is down and you think it has been hacked, it probably hasn't been hacked, it's probably just the server is down. Send a support ticket to your host through your control panel.

    Ask her hosting provider to reset your account, and upload again, that would be the easiest, also ask for a report on why it is hacked.

    Check whether all of your pages are defaced and if so, ask your webhost to restore your account from the backups. Also, ask them to go through the problem to see the thing that caused the website hack.

    It's very important to maintain back-ups. Once you are hacked there isn't much you can do to recover.

    Actually with current controlpanels like cpanel and Directadmin, backup to your own local PC is a breeze and is essential, you never know when you are going to be hacked. You may be secure, but your provider may not be.....

    Wordpress also has some back-up plugins for the database.
