I created this arcade a few days ago. I'm using the AV Arcade script and I plan on changing the AV Arcade logo in the top left hand corner......... Let me know what you think... thanks

Looks preety fine to me. But, that adsense banner ad color is not too good.It's kinda repelling.

 

Mhmm, I was trying to go with something that would blend. I'm kind of lost with that color because the site has 4 different colors.....

 

You maybe better using link units instead of that green banner, if you want to use a banner use the grey bg colour you have. Best advice is change the design as much from default as possible, everyone looks for a fre script first, most wont change design at all, some will a little bit but few do a thorouigh job, so do it and be unqiue.

You thumbnails are way too small.

Sorry if its a bit harsh but you may as well start better than the rest and not compete against arcades that may be worse than yours when yours has potential to be much better.

 

No hey, that's why I'm here looking for critism.... I'm working on a banner to replace where it says AV Arcade... and the thumbnails... I'll see if I can make them a bit bigger..... thanks for your advice!!!

 

You're welcome, its not only the banner, if anything change the bright green bar, its synonimis with the script, so are the big menus on the right but they arent so bad.

 

Change it how? Color wise????

Yes, however it is more than likely an image due to its gradient so you cant use CSS, it may be better changing it all together, maybe not having the edges curved, or have a pattern on it etc, something different.

I would say also increase images sizes, adjust your colors-use less or choose some that fit better-they-re not bad but not too nice combined. Also the top part, but I understand you're taking care of that...

 

Yeah, color wise.... let's get some advice... what colors would you like to see while on a gaming arcade site???

 

It depends on the theme, on mine i went with a monster theme due to my domain so i used greens and oranges. Id pick one or two colours and use shades of them to make it look better. I also dont think luminous colour like your gren work very well.

Also think about things like font faces too.

You must really change the logo. Though your site is good but i don't like the color template. It's so simple, improve more on the design.
