I won't Deny that Zango could be seen as adware.
However, how did you implement zango?
If you didn't place it right, or use the right methods, you arent going to make any money.
It's just like every other advertising company or affiliate.

If you are an honest Internet Marketer you will want to stay away from
zango...do a google search on zango scam and see what you find.
Zango is a new name for a company that was called 180 solutions
Very dishonest clickbank stealin commission business
    Google em you will see.
Zango is stealing from honest ppc advertisers!
    FYI

OMFG another Zango crap post, bring on Vista I say and kiss this crap Good bye,

This dude has no clue at all, you don't even know what you're promoting, there's no could bes about it - IT IS ADWARE - yes IT IS ADWARE.

Try it on Vista I dare YOU.
Try it on Opera too (yes the browser)
A semi decent spyware or adware installation.

Both of these and many others either reject it, go around it or simply detect crap on your site, they wont allow your visitors to view your site, install toolbar or even open your site.

And the comment about "If it was bad" "they'd be in sh1t" comment by the OP - shows how little you actually know, they've been sued a LOT of times, try Googling Seekmo or Zango.

I am just wasting my time ....... it comes down to the fact you're ripping us all off, all of us webmasters feel the pinch.

Zango might not be "morally" correct but they pay and they are a huge company(check out the people behind it/company profiles)

The company won't die anytime soon, they will overcome the Vista stage by probably making scripts that aren't detected by Vista so easily, it is that simple.

So to those who use them, more power to ya.

There is no rule book in this new era of online advertisement, so lets play ball.

No Rules hahaha - that's why they've been sued over a dozen times - for breaking the rules !

The vista problem, it's not new, they've been trying for months now to get around it, and as for Opera browser and similar browses by passing gateway, they'll continue to flourish, the adware and spyware software, well that's just getting better and better.

All you'll do is turn 20-50% of visitors away, you'll eventually loose your money and site.

You have to think outside the box here. You say they have been sued dozens of times...which big company hasn't? Look at Microsoft, they are sued daily it seems lol.

Zango has been sued, changed names etc but they are still making profit, the company is still growing whether we like it or not, it's that simple.

They will figure out a way around Vista just as new bugs/exploits are reported, TRUST ME, zango coders will figure a way around it. They don't care about Opera because not enough users use it for them to care just yet. It's all about Firefox and iE.

For those of you who feel it necessary to RANT on this thread. Please don't.
Every point you have brought up has been mentioned time and time again.
Every post is a repost of a repost.

Users on DP are generally more than capable to make their own decisions; They see the comments already posted, and can then choose to go ahead with using zango or not.

I'm sure most users who read this thread immediately check out google and do a little research before they sign up.
Advertising and such for your website is not such a small issue that research into ANY corporation you might try isnt necessary.

Enough good and enough bad have been posted about zango up to this point.
Let's let the other DP users decide if they would like to contact me for a referral or not.

PM's sent to those who requested.
