I dont know if this is a programming question but there it goes.

I have VB and i want my homepage to update when there is a new post or topic to help the search engins and users find them from my homepage..

all ideas appreciated and payment is available if needed.

    - cheers, Andy

EDIT: version 3.7 if that helps.

Log into your vbulletin admin console, then go to - vbbulletin options - external data provider and enable it.

And then read this thread on Implementing the External Data Provider. You have to specify a forum number to pull the data from.

    http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/vboptions_externaldataprovider_implementing

This is going to take a little trial and error, but it does work. I have it implemented on 2 different websites that pull data from my forum.

as you can see.. i was following this tutorial and the stage "Use External Data Provider:
YES - type = JavaScript" simply isnt there,,, any sugestions?

    thanks in advance.

EDIT: This is urgent I might add and a SMALL fee could be put in place as an incentive to anyone who has the solution.
