My URL is listed wrongly in Google

Here's a strange one. Google has my site's URL listed in their index (no description, no title, just the URL), but it's wrong. For instance, my site is: www.mysite.com, but Google has it listed as www.mysite.com /. Notice the extra space and ending slash. This looks like this in the Google listing: www.mysite.com /, which is NOT a working url link. You click on it, and the extra "%20/" at the end of the URL gives you an error message.

Why and how did this happen? Does this mean it will take them even longer to index my PROPER URL now? The only reason I can think of this happening is, one of my friends who has a website linked to me with the "%20/" at the end by accident. He changed it almost 3 weeks ago, but I haven't seen any correction in the Google listing.

    Any thoughts on this?

What? I don't get why this thread was moved here. It's clearly a Google listing question and should remain in the Google forum. ????

No, it shoudln't ,read the board's descriptions.

And if you don't provide your site's url you will only turn this into a guessing game

    The board's description:

This forum can be used to solicit website reviews from other users. This is also the place for Why does this site rank where it does? questions.

    My thread:

Not asking anyone to review my site; not asking anyone to guess why I'm rank the way I am. Maybe YOU should read the description again.

It's a question about WHY a site is listed incorrectly; it doesn't have anything to do with any specific website. It's a simple question of: "Have you ever seen this happen before and what should I do about it". I'm not asking you to visit my site, etc. You visiting my site HAS NO RELEVANCE to the thread at hand.

I think you should read the thread again. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Sure, I guess you shouldn't think you are too cool and go back to school, you need it.

    Read the boards description again.

I've seen several time that my site's URL's are listed with additional space within the URL.
Does anybody know why Google does that?
    For example:
    www.example.com/2005/01/ this-is-the-title/
