My Uptime Program

Hi again!

After running out of ideas for what to put on my blog, I thought about it, and came up with something that I think will create backlinks, hits, etc.

So I decided to make a program or two, this one included and it's a program that sits in your task bar, and when your site goes offline it notifies you.

that's a nice idea, actually i already use a site that dose this work. but then will this software check my site all the time and use up a lot of bandwidth!! thanks for the info

Decent idea, but not the first to do this. Lots of services for this and lots of hosts provide this for free. However, you only have to do it BETTER!

 

big sites made that called "monitoring service"

 

It just checks to see if the site is there, and updates every 10 seconds, so I don't think it will.
