    Cpalead has been getting complaints from youtube because of so many people using that site for spamming their cpalead sites, so Troy said they would now be banning members using that method for spamming links from now on. So, just be careful and not excessive when using the YT method now.

    and SEO is just common sense. It's not really a "secret" to be kept.

    Where did he say that at? I can't see why they would ban you for something you did on another site. That makes no sense. Not to mention how would they even know? Also why would youtube complain to someone when they can just ban the user, it's not an issue with CPAlead...

    It was a hot topic in the cpalead chat box a week or so ago when they were discussing it. Apparently Youtube sent an official complaint to cpalead about how their members were using Youtube for constant promotion (its a well known method and everyone is doing it now).

    Yes, Youtube will be banning those accounts as well, as they do often now (in the cpalead chat there are members saying their links are removed in as little as 10 minutes). However, Cpalead also said that IF they receive a complaint about one of their members from Youtube for excessive spamming, then that member would recive a warning first and then ban them if it continues.

    And it would be easy to identify the member simply by the site that the spammer lists and then crossreferencing that with the publisher ID for that site.

    Keep in mind that this is only for excessive spamming, which some people do to get the big numbers, but if you just drop a link now and then and don't do the upload method to excess then there should be no issues.

    I suggest emailing the Cpalead support for further details to see if anything has changed this week, as what I read was just what they posted when first being contacted by YT a week or so ago.

    I have never seen anything on CPALead yet but we will see.
