My travel, technology and living blog

Hi there,

I was hoping someone might be willing to take a quick look at my blog. Basically, I moved to London a week after graduating college in the States. I had some savings but no plan, no job, no place to live and didn't know anyone in the city. It's been such an adventure and since June when I arrived, I've found a wonderful tech marketing job, a great flat and have been drinking lots and lots of tea.

This blog focuses on my personal travel and experiences in London but often involves posts about the technology and marketing world.

Up until this point it's been for friends and family but I'm trying to expand my audience. Feedback would be great.

Your blog looks good. The header is nice.Does the "Send me a Text" really works, it's an exciting feature.

 

Yep, the send a text actually works. It's a wordpress plugin I found (I was actually trying to find a way to update my blog through sms but found that instead).

 

Nice . will check that plugin.

 

The header and the theme is really nice. Wanted to add some criticism about some negitive thing. But you have done a good job so far. However, I would reduce the number of post per page though. It leaves alot of blank space around the right corner.

Thanks so much for the comments everyone - what i might do is add some more to the the right hand column rather than reduce the number of posts, I think it's fine that I have a lot of content on the main page although you all are more expert in the blogersphere than I am so you would know better

 

Perfect site but the cj ads don't blend in and they flash too much.

 

Thanks, I was actually wondering about that myself. I might take a few out but on the other hand, at least people notice them?
