What was the reason as to getting sandboxed for your site? Generally building back quality backlinks and correcting your mistakes will get you back in the game.

I got sandboxed when I changed my site around and it went higher in the SERPs about a week later. Just build backlinks gradually and it should go away soon hopefully.

My site is almost two years old, but I only activated it a month ago (after being idle for 1 1/2 years). It is hosted in Blogger. I was having high traffic before, then I decided to change my template, and my Blog title. Are these the probable causes?

Maybe, try reverting the changes and see what happens in two-three days.

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty big change. Google simply demotes sites when they change things like that for a little while to keep down search engine manipulation - you'll be back sometime soon if there was no other penalties you tripped.
