Panda or Penguin update. Do you use an EMD Domain?

Duplicate content, spammy backlinks, too many ads above the fold...these are all things that can get you in trouble with Google

Too many updates from Google recently, check may be its affected from any of the updates. Look for duplicate content or may be you would have lost position on your main keywords.

check your site in google webmasters tool...look for messages sent by google. After the Penguin update on april whoever hit by this update everybody has the same problem "visitors falls rapidly". I also have got the same problem, not exactly like you but my visitors have from 6000 to 1600 and I have found duplicate pages on my own server with same Meta information and content, So at first I make 301 redirect for all the old pages to new pages and after that i deleted all the old files. After that I have sent Re-consideration request to google that I have made all the necessary changes. For your case, if you have problem with copy content issue then solve the problem by putting some unique content and delete copy content. Or If you have problem with spammy linkbuilding then you better change your domain and redirect old site to new one, because it is impossible to find all the bad links and send them email to remove your links, so it is better to change your domain and send Re-consideration request to google. I hope this will solve your problems. Take action immediately otherwise you will lost all visitors you have. "What actually happened to your site is Google de-index your keywords from search results" thats you are loosing visitors. :)

Unfortunately we are all at the mercy of Google :(

Constant updates by the big G mean we are all subject to such fluctuations.I try and have multiple sites so if one gets adversely affected by an update, then I can turn my attention to one of the of the other sites.

Next algorithmic update might see the situation reversed, so hang in there.

The traffic drop which you are noticing is because of Google update. You have to identify which have caused your traffic drop, is it Panda, Penguin or EMD. Accordingly you have to take necessary steps.
