My top ways to make money with PLR products.

Many newer marketers don't know this, but there is a huge amount of money to make with PLR products, and actually it is quite simple. I want to share a few ways to make money with PLR ebooks/videos.

If any of the more experienced PLR marketers want to add to this it would be great.

    1. (good) Sell the PLR products as it is. Look for ones with ready made sales pages.

    2. (better) Change the name of the product, ebook covers and sales page and sell it as your own product.

    3. (Best) Use many different PLR products about the same subject and find the best parts of each. Rewrite these into a new ebook, with new name, graphics and sales copy. Sell this for a much higher price.

    4. If you have rights to resell the PLR rights, give some ebooks away, but create an upsell for the resell rights.

    5. Break an ebook up into articles that you can drip feed to your blog or post on article directories for traffic generation.

    6. Use PLR products for a one time offer for your other products.

    7. Use a valuable PLR product as a freebie for your squeeze page to get people to opt in.

    8. Create a membership site with all your ebooks.

    9. Create an autority site, using the information from the products.

Feel free to add some more ideas if you have experience in this. It would be much appreciated.

Another one that I may add: You can change the name and graphics, set it up as a site and flip it for a quick few hundred bucks.

This is great stuff. I've only done affiliate marketing, but I've been interested in PLR products. Thanks for this info.

I would advise that if anyone is going to try to use PLR content on a website understand PLR content is being bought sometimes by hundreds of people at a time. This means that GOOGLE will see hundreds of websites with the same content and those sites will be penalized for duplicate content and will not be able to play happily with Google. Great Post though!

Good summary of what to do with PLR. I believe that PLR is A LOT more effective when you rewrite it and give it your own spin. The duplicate content issues only happen when you're really lazy and just slap up the PLR material without any modifications/enhancements.

Rewrite, rename and add your own twist, that is what I believe.

I have been looking into PLR content to re-write and sell as my own. I have been on the creation side of it and actually written some content myself and sold as PLR. Great ideas.

So far I only use PLR as writing ideas. I haven't post any PLR articles directly to my blog.

I like this one. Just make sure you rewrite the content and it should work just great.

That is why you should use article content sites like ArticleMe.com and be the only owner of the content.

Another good one is to create a membership site and drip feed content each month.

My take on PLR content is that it doesn't give a 'personal' feel. I usually use them for reference purposes.
