I think he is refering to the number of sites that have a special passworded invite only section to adsense publishers that are making "good" money.

I get a lot of invites to join exclusive clubs but I honestly care about that stuff.

    I like it here.

thx shoemoney, I put this thread on my smartphone to read it in my bathtub :)
    The tips are great ,
only thing is I can't use them because i have nothing to invest in sites or entities , so i have to make some adsense money first from the sites I have before I can do anything better.

well there is nothing that says you have to incorporate at first. I normally do not incorporate or move site(s) into there own entitiy until they are doing a certain figure a month. It only costs you time/hardwork and dedication to get started ohhh and alot more reading of digitalpoint

Hey Shoe - you are supposed to be partying at Havocfest ... or hung-over from the night before - what are you posting at DP for this early in the morning?!? ;-)

P.S. Ditto other people's comments that your contributions at DP are appreciated.

Actually, exam, there were some suggestions by members of this forum to start a private section for those earning big $. That seems to have lapsed for now. I can understand old hands not wanting to wade through lots of newbie stuff, but good posts (like shoemoneys) stand out by the number of page views and the thread length.

Let me emphasize the secrecy part! Do not let anyone know you’re making money, no matter how much it is. You could be making a $100 a month and people will turn it into $100 per day. No one will appreciate the years of hard work you put into your sites and likely view your income as easy money. It’s just not fair that you make money when they have to work so hard…

Open a SEP and max it out every year! Even if your employer contributes to another retirement plan, open a SEP.

Never let up! That is good advice, do not stop, keep going. If you are not going to bed exhausted from creating content and / or starting sites, then you are not doing enough.

Read the digital point forums! There are bigger forums, but digital point is by far the most concise and open forum on the net.

Resist the urge to buy crap! Just yesterday I saw a gold chain with a dollar sign for a great price, and resisted:) It’s hard, but resist the trap! Pay off your debt, put money into your retirement, build an emergency fund and then play with the leftover.

This could all stop tomorrow, if it does, will you have taken steps to change your life!

Shoe, I've been working online for about a year now and have been a member of a few forums and I just wanted to say that this has been the most educational thread on the subject of Adsense that I have seen.

I appreciate your time with this information.

Chill out people. Adsense may work for some and for others it sucks.

but to make money off adsense you need:

    converting traffic

there thats all you need to make money. Not huge content of 'hardwork and dertmination' or 'a bazzilion pages of content' but website traffic.

Traffic comes MAINLY from GOOD SEARCH ENGINE PLACEMENT

IF YOU CAN MASTER THE SEARCH ENGINES YOU CAN MASTER ADSENSE

I don;t have the time, skill, or patience to master the engines. I have a hard enough time mastering my VCR.

Ned, you're talking yourself into a hole. To get good SE placement and get your converting traffic, it takes content, hard work, determination. Just the things you say are worthless
