seems like adsense is a great way to make a living but i have to admit after only a week it does seem hard to fathom making 500 a day. Is it worth buying any of those books or systems or just make your own sites and promote?

 

Being new to this myself, I had bought Joel Comm's book off Amazon for about $15 and I found it to be an enjoyable read. Most of the information can be found on the forums for free but it was nice having it all in one quick reference.

In addition, it was nice to see some visual examples of various points. There were some nice resources referenced throughout his book but again, I think you can find much of the same by going through the forums and asking questions.

The key to making the money with AdSense is having a high volume of traffic on your site(s). Without traffic, it is going to be quite difficult to earn anything. My focus is on creating a site with quality content and then trying to focus on driving traffic to the site.
