    I got a question forShowMaker

Great tips and it looks like it will take a lot of work to fullful this, but it is diffenitly worth it.

But my question s about the domains. Do you use your product in the domain like examples (TMobileWallpapers.com or PSPWallPapers.com) which may have Trademark issues or do you go with just making up random words for the domain like (JengoWallpapers.com or Jengo.com)

Thanks for anyone who answers the question!

I have used both.. and I have lost some domains to companies... basically if they file for them I give them up.

For anything I am going to spend a lot of time on I always try to brand the site with a name that has no present meaning or affiliation. This is going to require a lot more work and dedication but it will also be very lasting.

1 million unqiue whats? Visitors? 1 million unique visitors should translate to about 3 million impressions which should bring about $100,000 - $600,000 a year I'd guess, though you never know. I have two sites, both automotive, wiht similar topics and sizes, and one brings in about $8 a month while the other brings in about $900 a month.

The problem here is reporting of unique visitors. Some software classes unique as meaning not having visited in the last 15 minutes while others class it as anything from 15 minutes to 24 hours. Personally I count the number of unique IP addresses per day, so technically if someone visits every day they will be unique 31 days in a good month, 28 days in a short one, 29 days once every 4 years, and 30 days for all other times :D

Counting unique IP addresses will work unless the visitor is going through a cluster of proxies (like AOL) in which case they will count as a new unique visitor on pretty much every page view. Cookies is better, but nothing is perfect I suppose. :>

less than 5% of my traffic is AOl, which was why I went with the Ip thing. I get accurate stats from lots of places though. My webstats, my adsense tracker etc. it is interesting reading. My favourite stat though is page views per visit. I am currently averaging a little under 20 per visit, so am well pleased with that.

Always put salt in your potatoes
Never wear white pants if you have diarrhea
always look for oncoming traffic before turning right (left if you a Murcan driver)
NEVER get caught looking down your mates mothers cleavage
always carry a condom, you never know when it might rain
    do no evil

The first 5 are genuine and currently applicable, but apparently the final one no longer applies

I have a question for Shoemoney...

Do you use the same PC when you access adsense (google.com/adsense) for all your different google accounts? Doesn't google detect this?

I am not shoey, but what is the problem here? I access client adwords/adsense accounts all the time from this PC & my laptop. that is how business works.

As long as each account is a legitimate legal entity then Google are happy.

Google doesnt care. You're allowed one account per EIN or per entity regardless of who operates that entity. He explained this already in the thread.
