I may be a Grunt on DP at the moment, but I am not new to SEO and linkbuilding. Since that is the case, I thought this would be an appropriate place to share some knowledge, some of which is similar to blackhat SEO, but played correctly, it isn't blackhat. Firstly, there is one social networking site that is good for submitting your tech topics to. The articles get approved by the admin, and he really loves tutorials, fyi. This is Tweako. I use it to get lots of my blog posts popularized. Besides that, there is a tool you should look at called QUIT, the Quick Indexing Tool. It resides here, at a blackhat SEO site (scroll to the bottom for actual tool). It is capable of being used for good or evil. If you are getting a non-blackhat site indexed, you are using it for good. To use it, make sure you have adsense on your site, and just follow the directions. It will get an unindexed site indexed in 48 hours on average (usually less) , and it will get the Googlebot to crawl already indexed sites, and it gives you a few free social bookmarking links, too. Posting on Digg and other sites are a given, everybody knows that...so I am not even going to talk about it... Greyhat: If you really want some serious backlinks, you need to find a program that will convert a webpage into an exe ebook, or write a simple registry hack, or windows script that does something useful, and put it in a self extraxting exe. If making an ebook, find a page on your site needing links that is tutorial related, or at least something that is interesting. Then, convert it to the ebook if you go that route. Once you have done that, get the free trial of an automated software submitter. It should be able to create a PAD file (the file that contains info about your software). Fill in the fields for your software, making sure to link to a download page for it, and have in one of the alternate download boxes your site(s) url(s). Then, upload the PAD file and software to the place you have listed in the primary download location, and create a download page. Have the submitter submit the software PAD to the hundreds or thousands of sites related to the niche your software is geared towards. Once done, you should start to see the backlinks roll in. /greyhat Besides that, you should take every opportunity you can to guest write for other sites and blogs, and you all are experienced enough to know everything else... The only other thing I could suggest is trying the TrafficSeeker trial, which submits to search engines, FFA sites, classified ad sites, and other things.
hi thanks for sharing, i already try QUIT for my new site. Hope that site been indexed within this few days.
Another good way is craigslist.com, if you have a site that is revelant to a section of craigslist.com post an ad I've seen my craigslist.com ads indexed in 1-2 days and my site see the googlebot and indexed in the same time.. Along with the other suggestions you should be indexed in 24 hours.
.exe is considered software, so the exe is considered "software" as an ebook. You have to be a little creative.
