My text looks great - except on Firefox

    Hi there,

I'm using webfonts across my website, the only problem is that Firefox makes all the text a lot 'bolder' than every other browser.

Am I able to make Firefox display my text without 'Bold"?

    How do I do this?

    Thanks.

I don't have that problem, we are probably going to need more information about this.

In general I find that Firefox is much more likely to follow the rendering standards that IE or Safari.

As a patch you could consider writing a CSS section targeting Firefox.

Give us more information about problem, or just try with different font.

Maybe, you should set "Allow pages to choose their own fonts..." in fonts settings in Firefox?

Yeah, without a link to the site in question, more information like what OS you're seeing the problem on, etc, etc... you've tread into "and this is why we can't help you" territory.

Though mentioning Safari probably means you're a quackintosh user (yeah, there is Safari for Windows, but only re-re's use that crippyware), which given the muddy mess their renderer makes of text AND that firefox on OSX behaves differently than it's PC counterpart, inconsistencies of that nature are hardly a shock. You'd probably be really horrified to see what a Windows machine does to it.

Firefox updates but I find that new updates move the rendering closer to the standards, and not away therefrom.
