    So I have just set up a technology forum, no members yet:( but hopefully get some soon, but anyway, what do you think of it?

    Black background is driving all your users away!

    Also, 'Programming' is too broad of a category.

    I would suggest that you change the background colors in your logo.

    The first thing I noticed was the logo. Way too pixelated in my opinion. I can only imagine viewing it in 800x600 and seeing these huge squares! Otherwise, I think you are going in the right direction. Keep up the good work!

    Maybe shrinking the logo will hide the pixelation. Also, the page loaded pretty slowly. Other than that, I think everything else on the page looks clean and organized.

    The quality of the top section is bad. It needs to be redone for a bigger size not resized. The menu is lost. Try to use some icons for the legend, it should improve the general impression.
