I have to say that ... I like it... the only problem is on the left there is a blank column which causes only half (or 2/3 max) of the adsense ad to be shown. I'm using Epiphany (Mozilla-compatible, as it uses Gecko) and 1024x768 resolution. Make sure all fits on screen and it will look better. Anyway, great work, nice layout and an interesting idea, mate.
I guess people aren't commenting, because there isn't much to criticize: the design is good, the colours stylish, and the ad-implementation precise! Very professional. Well done!
The problem with the adsense ad is, that the page is centered on the main content which does not include the skyscraper. But I will talk to my designer if he can fix this problem. Thank you for the feedback, any more thoughts?
Did anyone surfed the page in the last time? What was your experience as guest like e.g. usability, navigation, menü structure, etc.? Would you consider registering if you would like hip hop in order to be able to vote or even start battles yourself? Do you have any ideas about how to improve the website (we have a forum that will be up again in the next few days, so just that you know)?
On another forum a user told me, that our "IE Alert bar" that shows up for first time users at the very top of the page is making people turn away What do you think? Is it realy alarming people or is it catching your attention?
User sign in area.. need more detail that says name (here) password(here) also how do I hear a battle.. I did a few clicks and nothing to hear? new users will spend only a few seconds looking before they leave.. they want to hear the rap.. then they will figure the site out
