Hello, I made a website about my wonderful trip on Svalbard archipelago, last summer. They are arctic islands. Please review it and let me know what do you think about it. Thanks in advance! www.svalbard2009.com
It looks like a clean, classical design. No major faults at first look. Blue background color that represents the sea and the meridian lines look sweet and meaningful. The flag thing and the choice of colors do the purpose. It feels like the website has been done for 800x600 screen resolution. First thing I think when visiting a 800x600 website is that I need to scroll down to get more info, it doesn't give me the overview of the entire available information on the website, that makes me a bit confusing. Some more images of the landscape could do good. People like seeing pictures, it's like sightseeing the landscape through the website.
Thanks a lot for your review. I've received no visits from 800x600 resolution... eccept you I think it's impossibile to make a website without vertical scroll. Are you quoting Klog?
I actually have a widescreen 1068x1050 screen resolution. It was my mistake to presume the website's width is made with 800x600 screen resolution in mind. Text body fonts appear to be perhaps a bit bigger, maybe it's once again my wrong impression. I liked the website design overall. A sweet, neat, classical design. Once again, nice choice of colors. Gives the spirit of the Artic surroundings.
Yes, I usually made website 800 px maximum width. Thanks, but it's not easy to meet many animals there and to be able to get pictures of them... maybe in my next trip
