I created a links page for my website , but so far I can't seem to build reciprocal links because the link page title is not recognized by prospective link partners as genuine. When I complete and <enter> the "submit link" page of the would-be link partner, the following error message appears next to the "Reciprocal Link URL" field: "A link to (name and url of the partner site) could not be found at the specified URL". I even tried changing the partner site's HTML link text to WYSIWYG anchor text, but that didn't help. This issue occurs even though I make sure that I publish the prospectve partner's site before submitting my entry. Any suggestions?
Make sure you have don't have any errors in your html code. Also, sometimes they check to make sure the page you are linking them on is actually linked somewhere else on your site (i.e., it's not just some orphanned, hidden page you posted for them)
