you might get some penalty on the sub domain for doing some sort of spamming, same the case i have seen for http://www.idsketch.com because from some good keywords it was coming in high ranking but with a big big fall now it showing results after 100s

It can appear in search engine if you get some quality back links pointing at your sub domain.

Promote your sub domain as you do for main domain. If you work regularly, this will definitely boost the search engine presence and will be visible in Google.

Google treats new sub domains just like new domains. I learned the hard way on this.

They don't have less weight. You might see it that way because people just build less links to them than the root domain.

Afterall, www. is a subdomain too.

Actually have no problem with Google crawling unlike Yahoo Crawlers...
I think you just need to wait... My Blog Site was indexed after 1 day of submitting it.

I'm getting an error when I try to visit your site. That said, creating a video, uploading to Youtube and embedding it on your blog should help.

Right, backlinks would help Google in indexing you sub domains. Why not try to give a link to your sub domain via your main domain? :)

google treats the sub domain as the new domain, as far as i have learnt. Put the same energy in sub doamins as you put in domains. best of luck..
