My style = failure?

I like to post short articles in the 150-200 word range. Is that bad? I'm getting ready to start my blog up soon, and I've recently been creating drafts to get ready for launch. However, I noticed that my articles are much shorter than most bloggers who write 500 words + sometimes.

Should I try to increase the content of each article?

If it only takes 150-200 words to get your point across, so be it. I wouldn't add filler to the posts just to increase word count. If you want the post to look longer insert a few graphics in it or increase the line spacing slightly...

If your style is 200 words, than do your style. Believe me, I've failed way too many times in the start by trying to write long than I was either used to or wanted to and it just gets harder and harder until you break and want to quit.

Just follow your style. Readers will like you for you are.

I love reading short but too the point blogs. I have too many to read so sometimes a short one is refreshing.

I prefer brief and to the point too, faced with huge long text, unless its very important that i read every word then i mostly find myself scanning for the meat that i need.

If its nice and short and got whats most important then i can read it properly quickly.
