After one week of having three single articles up on EZA I have got the following results: Cleansing guide - views 73 , url clicks 11. Car auction - v 36 , c 11. Homemade energy - v 33 , c 1. Each one does not have any pre-prepared keywords, I just wrote them and wanted to see what would happen. They all have redirects straight to the clickbank sales page via godaddy. What I would like to ask for is a few pointers and musts to make my articles more sucessful as I have not got any sale yet, I am not really surprised about that as this was just a test really but I do not want to spend alot of time and energy. Next step is to create some blogger pages and some squidoo pages to sit between the sales page and the article. So please, anything you think would help me to know about please mention. EG. Submitting (differently worded) articles for the same product to EZA each day rather than three in one day.
when i say I do not want to spend alot of time and energy I meant to say "spend alot and time and energy on ideas/things that will not work"
Dude, Internet Marketing is a trial and error business. You have to have things that don't work, so you can learn from them. If you aren't willing to put in the work (regardless of whether it works or not), you will not make a lo of money. The best converting products convert at 20 to 1, some more like 50 or 100 to 1. I would suggest you write more articles.
Oh I understand that. What I meant was should I be loading my articles with lots of hot keywords that are being searched for alot but are not to saturated? I didn't want to keep writing articles without knowing certain things or spending alot of time and then find that I have overlooked something very basic. Which are the best ways/programs for social bookmarking and should I submit to many many or just one or one that says it submits to many But I do understand what you have said, I just want to shrink the chances of me making some long term error and not spotting it
You can write some articles that should include some high quality keywords and do SEO or PPC to promote. Keep writing articles without ppc or seo will waste you alot time.
With keywords. Would it be better to write an article loaded with good keywords (not in an obvious way) or use one or two of the best ones more than once? and the PPC to promote the article or clickbank product? and do you recomend using blogger/squidoo/domain extension "review" before the sales page? thanks
Alright, first up this isn't going to be a walk in the park... it never is . Write an article with the keyword density around 2-3%. Try to target long tail keywords, ones that have low Google competition (there is not set competition, but i'd start with long tails that have less then 1M competitors. You don't want to reuse articles, as this is a waste (Google counts this duplicated content) ... bare in mind eventually you want more of your sales to come from search engines and not article views. When you are producing back links in your articles try to make use of the anchor text by placing a long tail keyword in it. You can do this my using the HTML code <a href="http://www.domainnamehere.com">ANCHOR TEXT HERE</a>. Use persuasive techniques to get people to click your link, one good example is by saying "If you're serious about reducing your energy bills... I suggest you check out the link below". Create web 2.0's, if this is done correctly it can produce some great backlinks. The thing about web 2.0's is that the content of the page/blog or whatever you produce is entirely up to you. You can then use a variety of tools to promote each web 2.0 such as social bookmarking on sites like Digg and Reddit (there are numerous automated tools for this, a good free one is www.onlywire.com) and RSS Pings (this submits your RSS feed to various RSS feed directories). If you want to do PPC I suggest you get some read up on guides as you'll have a lot to learn... and if you don't learn it... you can lose ALOT of money FAST. SEO on the other hand is free, but time consuming... so it's really all up to you, however you can manage a PPC campaign while going for natural SEO results too.
Nice advice so far..although there are varying opinions I would say forget about what you hear about duplicate content..Google only penalizes duplicate content coming from the same domain or IP, if your on shared hosting. If Google truly did penalize all the duplicate content out there..Then I would scrap all the articles from my comptetitors submit them all to the other directories and sit back and laugh as google penalizes all this content. Google won't penalize you for something your competition can use against you. Plus there is nothing wrong with light syndication, else every other blog promoting and CNN clips would get penalized for duplicate content.. Honestly write some articles, submit them to EA and then take these same articles and submit them to the other top 4-5 directories is all you need to worry about for articles then work on..adding in some Web2.0 sites, backlinking etc.
Google doesn't penalize dupe content. Even worse "The content doesn't get indexed" Some people don't take things seriously.. they're just playing around or wasting their time. There's tons to learn, test and put in practice.
I'm just going by what I was told . So therefore your saying I can submit my article to like 10 directories, same backlinks and content and all the backlinks will still hold similar weight if all articles rank on the 1st and 2nd pages?
excellent comment precious...test and put in practice..so true I'm a firm believer that the main reason why so many fail at affiliate marketing is because they simply do not understand or put in the kind of work you need to, in order to see success... Too many guys on here will write 5 articles for some niche, submit them to EA then come back here and wonder why they are not making any money. Half of this game is about the guy who can consistantly day in and day out pump out the content, create the interlinking web2.0 sites ...and all for the same keyword, I might add...then do it again for another keyword. Then tomorrow do it again.
I'm not talking about writing only 5 articles, I'll write a damn 100 if needed. I've got like a current 20 active, amongst numerous other web 2.0's and slowly my sales are appearings. However what I'm saying is that if I were to copy those 20 active articles submit them to 5 top article directories, then produce web 2.0's interlinked all with the same content etc etc and the web 2.0's and articles all appeared on the 1st page for my keyword they would all hold the same link quality or link strength?
Ed...I just said that Google will not penalize the content.. for example and only google knows the answer for this..you can submit say one article to EA, and then submit that same article to articlesbase for sake of arguement, and the EA article doesn't get as high an index as the other article even though it's the same article..and then yet for another keyword..the EA article gets preference over the articlesbase one.. how much credit you get and how much weight googles assigns is up to google. I'm just saying there is nothing wrong with submitting the same article to other directories..and even if they don't get full weighted credit for a backlink you'll still get some backlink for it, which is better then nothing. The point is this you cannot simply write just a few article and 1. Hope to rank 2. Hope to make any money Take your first article you wrote...now re-write it at least 10 times for the same keyword. Submit all those articles.. Now create another 10 articles and submit those to every friggen dofollow web2.0 site that's out there, and yes they can be the same content, will you get as much ranking for each..no, but it's still all good..then your serps for that landing page will grow. Then tomorrow do it all again for another keyword, and then another..
Oh right I get what you mean, so they don't not index or count the backlinks.. they'll still count it with not as much ranking, but overall it will still help for SERP's.
right, and then once you get the concept down, it becomes all about how many of those pieces of content can you get to stack on a page. I'm not interested in just getting my EA article on the 1st page of Google. I want my article and my squidoo page and my main lander and other web2.0 sites and a couple other article directories all displaying my content on that first page or two of google..that's how you win the content war and insure you get credit for any hop. The most I have ever managed is to stack 6 results of the 10 on the front page of google all being in essence my content, so I have increased my odds to nab that traffic by 60%
