    Dear All

Mods: please dont move it to another section, it is adsense related.

I dont know if I am allowed to make such a comment but all said and done, google search is more popular than yahoo search or MSN.

Lot of us always aspire and work very hard for have good PR or placement in google. Not all of us but most of us unfortunately concentrate less on yahoo or MSN (including myself). If I look at my stats for the last one month (referral domain vs clicks).

I see that most of the google visitors are people who are ad blind.

The laymen...who are BTW most probable to click on your ads are mostly coming from yahoo or MSN.

So is it not better to concentrate on yahoo and MSN than putting all your efforts into google?

Another point to substantiate the claim is that - again my observation -
a site gets ver nicely indexed in yahoo or MSN in just a couple of days or a week. whereas in google its takes time and as you know the competition is also very high in google for SE placement.

    what do you all think?

    cheers,
    prasad..

Some would say, by concentrating on Google SEO, you are effectively also doing the work for the other two, as they follow Google. Also this post is about stats, but I don't see any. Finally, who says Yahoo and MSN vistors are layman. Do you have any proof?

Actually I have many clicks from MSN and I don't have even visits from G.. There's something true in pessi99's post but Google is too big to forget about it.

It's seems you have a point I have a site that averaging 1100 unique a day most of them are from google but don't get much click. I have other site averaging 120 unique a day most of the traffic are from yahoo but the click trought and earning is higher.

Google is the top preferred engine for many Net junkies. Its like Yahoo x100 - so you know.

but u cannot assume that novices are from yahoo and msn and not google - can u prove it somehow but?
