    Quick question.

    What tools scripts are needed to setup a site similar to myspace.

    I want to setup a website that only college students can use. So i need to setup login access which brings the user to a page.

    Then they will be able to search through the site.
    Not sure on what scripts or type of server to set something like this up

    Search for "myspace clones" plenty of scripts out there ready-made.

    facebook.com already was for only college students but they recently expanded to allow everyone to signup. Not really sure its a market that could take another participant

    like said above there are tons of scripts that are similar to myspace. There are even stolen scripts FROM Myspace itself.

    But, don't even tried it.there are tons and tons of such websites that aren't benefiting. Myspace made enough, it is slowly dying like livejournal or w/e the hell it was.
