Ouch, that sucks. Maybe next time you will be more careful. I'm currently working on my first Myspace advertising account. Right now I stand at a modest 80 friends. Quite a few picture comments, plenty of messages.

i also used adderrobot but got my account flagged. i think myspace is really cracking on this type of programs.
My account has moved up to 550+ friends, around 2k page views, and messages/comments/pic comments out the butt lol.

I now have 2 accounts of around 500 friends each I say around cos they are both increasing, strange thing is one is by natural friend adds and the other on friend blaster pro and they are keeping up with eachother. Doesn't make sense to me but just happens to be the way its worked out. I think I added some hot profiles which were being watched or something or maybe the blog I added a steamyh blog to the non-automated one. What do you think?
To keep people looking at your profiles, give your profile a good image. In my case, I found a photobucket full of pics of this one girl, added them to myspace, and made a "real" looking account. Added a fake description, etc. Key thing is, make sure they look good. The girl I have is a good looking girl, sure to attract guys to accept, and with guys as friends, girls will follow. My top friends are all girls too, good looking ones, this way it catches users eyes when they see my profile.
