Hi DP members, EDIT--- Sorry, i shouldn't have made this topic. Please don't give me reds. Learnt my Lesson
Your so nice to the new people... Don't ask for rep, it'll end up in either neg rep or an infraction (theres a post about it somewhere). Best way is just not to think about it.
What effort? From what I can see most of your posts have been in the freebies section asking for a lot.
i am facing this problem too... after spending this much time on DP and writing about a thousand posts... i help people but when the problem solves the user is just gone without any rep there should be some solution... in past week this has happened to me thrice...
Do not mean to offend you but I looked through the first four pages of your post and there was nothing overly helpful in any of them. Another thing is you may want to try to polish up your grammar just a bit. Offer advice when you have knowledge of something and do not just say what four or five people before you have said. It takes time to build a rep and it is easy to destroy when you start threads asking why you can't get rep. Just use the forum to learn and contribute where you can. If you help someone out or offer something witty that makes people laugh, you will start to earn rep. People need to get to know you first. Good luck!
wow 20 people, you'd be lucky if two of them gave you rep. And to both of you (you and infogle), it's not a problem and there doesn't need to be a solution. I really don't see why rep matters so much to people. As long as mine is above 10 I don't really care.
the rep is just a way to say thanks for the help one has provided you and if you can't say thanks also for the help you have taken then you should not have ask for the help though its also denotes that actually the user has followed your help or not...
what can I say? I'm a people person. I just love to give and give. Like how I gave this guy both good advice and red reps.
Your such a nice guy. This is the type of crap that causes the OP not to have any good rep: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=748763 He asked for an offer for a signature with very little posts and none of value and I give him an offer and his reply was raise the bid. Should I give him another nice dose of red for annoying me?
Your offer was pretty decent for the amount of posts he had. Plus his post/day is only 2.something, so it's not like it's likely to increase rapidly. Guess he's looking for a quick way to get some cash, like a lot of people are.
I feel a bit sorry for the guy, he's not done much wrong and we are still flaming him. There goes that nice streak in me again...
