Hi I have a Wallpaper site and my sites was PR2 2-3 weeks ago. Suddenly i see my sites PR is gone! I was checked with PR checker but it was showing PR0 until yesterday. Yesterday I open the site and see my PR is come back again! But in my knowledge there is no PR update between this 2 - 3 weeks. Any body know what is the problem actually? U can see me site here : http://www.wallpaper32.com/
PR is updating constantly, continuously, and at any given period time (I mean the actual value, not that from the toolbar)
Experimentation seems to be a continuous process at google and it does throw up some hiccups for some websites from time to time... Nothing to be worried and alarmed about.... Regards, RightMan
I had the case once and I was a bit afraid because I did nothing wrong to my pages nor linking. It was on an internal page, home page PR did not change at all. After 1 week it came back again. I believe that was a kind of micro update for a few pages. Some of my friends experienced that too.
They generally don't actually announce PR update until after the fact, but there are some signs to watch for. For example when sites start to bounce up and down the scale in page rank that's a decent indication Google is doing something, possibly with page rank.
Yes, I totally agree. Google scans through every site and the PageRank is regularly updating; the major update is the mass update of PR of all the sites.
PR 2 is nothing.. its may be from datacenter issue.. In some data center not finish urs site updation... thats why its dancing.... but it may be OK.. this year pr not updated...
I checked for an update earlier today but didn't see one until about an hour ago and now all of my sites except one have gone up by 1 PR point. Just chack back tomorrow and you will probably see a positive change.
it also happned to me . when i converted my PR3 genberal directory to Bidding directory ,i maintained same URL but till in a week PR is 0 now
Make sure that you update your website frequently especially writing articles..it will go back to normal PR in a few days.
