hello, i have some blogs enough back links for a while but i see they arent indexed any reason http://bestunixhosting.net/ http://bankingcc.com/ http://bankingrules.net/ http://cardblog.net/ any ideas guys? thanks harsha
You don't by any chance have a robots.txt file in the main website's directory? If so, depending what's in this file could stop Google from indexing. Also make sure mod_security or a firewall is not blocking Google from actually indexing the site when their servers crawl it.
You can wait til the cows come home but you best fix your robots.txt file if you want any visitors: http://bankingcc.com/robots.txt
Some matters might usually be the causes in such cases including lack of the Robots text file as well as the pages not getting updated frequently, even if they have many incoming links or when the contents are duplicates or very similar to other previously indexed pages.
Should I CRY OR LAUGH My Dear, Google Will Not Index These Sites Even In 100 Years, Even You Get So Many Backlinks, Do Social Bookmarking etc, THE REASON IS YOUR ALL FOUR SITES CONTAIN THE META TAG <meta name='robots' content='noindex, nofollow' />, YOU ARE TELLING THE GOOGLE TO DON'T INDEX THESE SITES. THEN HOW CAN THEY INDEX WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION???????? GO AND CHANGE THAT META TAG TO, <meta name='robots' content='index, follow' /> OR <meta name='robots' content='index, nofollow' />(IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE LINKS ON YOUR SITES,AND DON'T LIKE TO PASS THE LINK JUICE TO THEM)
This is what I'm telling everytime in such threats. the reason is simple. the new wordpress has option not to allow search engines. Quite hard to index (I got success to index homepage only but very hard, with such deny. Quite simple to solve your problem. Click Settings - Privacy and just choose "Allow Google and other search engines to index my website".
Yup..itismine is right... you have to change the nofollow, noindx attributes to allow google index your site
Glad you shared your proble, DP is a great place to get simple answers to complex questions, wordpress is a pain for their default settings.
ahh im really laughing at my self i dint even care to check whats that I read a lot about search engines also write ..what a pitty anyways thanks guys really helpfull
common, you got to remove the <meta name='robots' content='noindex, nofollow' /> tag on index page. Its not magic it logic
Hi itismine Nice findings... you struck it right . did u view the source code or did u use any other way ?
