What do the pending status notes mean?

These notes let you know when there's a problem with the DNS records for your domain and you need to update them so that we can activate your domain. To learn how to create your records, visit the domain set-up guide, which contains specific instructions for common registrars like GoDaddy, Enom, Yahoo, and Registrar.com, as well as general instructions for all other registrars.
How can I tell if there's a problem?
If your domain is set up properly, you should see two specific status messages.
First, do you see the following status message? (Pub-xxxxxxxxx should be your unique ID, listed in the upper corner of your AdSense account pages.)
    CNAME Record: pub-xxxxxxxxx.afd.ghs.google.com
If you do not see this status, then you need to change your 'www' CNAME record so that it points to Google. The domain set-up guide goes over how to update your 'www' CNAME record.
Second, do you also see this status message?
    A Records: 216.239.32.21, 216.239.34.21, 216.239.36.21, 216.239.38.21
If you do not see this status, then you need to update your A records so that they point to Google. You can learn how to do this in the domain set-up guide.
Keep in mind that changes to DNS record settings may take up to 48 hours.
