My Sitemap Submitted last Feb. to GWT - question about indexed URLs

    Of the 13,865 URLs indexed on my site in signature below, 13,180 have been indexed...took about 3 months, not quite. There are roughly 4000 images throughout the site which make up for roughly 10,000 separate pages. The URL has a page rank of 4 and have taken care of all redirects as needed for the 11 year old domain. I mention this to ask if the total number of URLs needs to be fully indexed before the bots can do proper indexing? I mean, will the various pages gradually climb in the search results for their intended keywords, once the entire sitemap is fully indexed? Right now, my traffic is TERRIBLE, only a few visits a day....really needs to improve in that area, so am not certain what my next move should be.
