My sitemap just wont work.. with GOOGLE TOOLS

    here is my sitemap , www.virusforum.net/sitemap-index.xml

    It always comes back with a god damn X red sign and this message

    We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

    rename you sitemap file and make it sitemap.xml and put it in the root folder . then submit again.

    Is your sitemap made correctly? An incomplete generated sitemap may be the problem?
