I'm new in using google sitemap. I'd submitted .xml file and it was on a green check now. What does it mean? My domain is not yet index and I'm worried about it being blacklisted on Google SERP. My mistake is that I didn't check the history of this domain name.I found out that it was owned by a Chinese company before and I saw one backlinks having "This may harm your computer" that came into my conclusion that it is banned.

Since the sitemap is already in green do I need to expect that the domain will be index anytime soon? I already make backlinks from large traffic sites like digg and facebook.

    Thanks!

The green is okey from google sitemap and you need to wait for when it will be index in the search engine. Dont worry it might not harm your site

It takes time for Google to crawl your site. Adding a sitemap won't increase the speed or guarantee that your site will be crawled. It is the assist Google in finding the pages on your site.

Come back to your site map after a week or two and you should see the number of pages in your sitemap that are indexed.
