Eh... I think my site is not doing so good. For a few days, my traffic was increasing daily by like 50, but all of a sudden, three days ago, it dropped to being lower than 100 uniques. I am not making much with adsense, less than one dollar a day. Some days, nobody clicks the ads. Please, I need suggestions on what to do so my traffic increases and revenue raises! Link: tutorialshift.com Thanks!
if your site is new, it's normal for traffic from Google to drop suddenly (assuming that's where you're getting most of your traffic).. dont worry, it will eventually come back.. Keep working on the content and SEO. Once your traffic starts flowing again, the earnings will follow. Is Ashley really your girlfriend?
You may want to review Adsense's blog to keep your account in good standing. Even so, your placement seems perfect and should derive a high CTR. Perhaps you could include advertisements between the tutorials, with the same formating, to increase your clicks further? Even so, you should concentrate on improving your traffic. My recommendation would be to submit your tutorials on other tutorial databases, such as Pixel2Life. By doing so, your traffic (and accordingly earnings) should increase by quite a bit. Overall, your website looks great and you should be able to pocket quite a bit from it!
It's new, but I don't get my main traffic from google. I get it from tutorial index engines. Ashley is not my girlfriend, she's the girlfriend of the guy who wrote that tutorial... haha. Yeah, I followed the instructions that moneymakinguru gave me. He's very good. In the tutorials, there is ads... You are saying to show them just like it shows it on what page? I am submitting the tutorials to pixel2life and good-tutorials. It's hard to get it accepted into good-tutorials.com though... lol Thanks for all your feedback guys!!! Keep the comments coming!
Don't worry, just keep trying. Since you're allowed up to three units of advertisements with Adsense, I was implying that you follow the same format in which the summary of tutorials is provided in the homepage, with an additional Adsense unit in place of one of the descriptions. Rather than the tutorial's title, such as 'Photography Enhancement 1', you could label it 'Sponsors' but maintain the same format as the other tutorials' summary. Essentially, you would be tricking visitors who don't take the time to actually read into visiting one of the advertisements. Even so, you will be in full compliance with Google's TOS. How well you integrate the advertisements such that it gives the illusion of a tutorial is up to you!
