Hello, i have a PR1 site which was ranking well in google. Suddenly i noticed that my site is removed from google's directory. Also,my top search queries were not updated in my webmaster's dashboard for the past 1 month.. May i know what makes google angry on me?...
Are to talking about this http://directory.google.com/. If so, was/is your site listed in DMOZ as well ?
i assume U are talking about the google.com and not the google directory, which is based on the dmoz directory. appears to me that there's any penalty against your site using this seopenalty.com but i don't know about the accuracy of this tool, so can't say for sure, nor do i have any idea why as you haven't given us any info....
Sorry,i was wrong. I am talking about google.com. Here is my domain details http://checkpagerank.net/index.php?name=tldblogger.com&links=1
The things are quite simple as this is all because of Google penalizing your website due to any parameter. Try finding out the matter of penalizing and work on it.
Yeah this link in the footer could be the problem. Linking to sites like gambling = Not a good idea. Well you either remove the link (Most people do anyway) or you find another design.
I agree that it's probably the links in the footer causing problems, especially the casino one. If you can't remove them at least use nofollow. If they are part of the WP template just get another template. ps. your blog is NOT removed from the index, its probably just heavily penalized. site:http://www.tldblogger.com/ still shows 553 pages indexed and you still have PR.
I like the giveaway idea, but people might see that its pirated software. But update your website daily.
Then add "no follow" to it which shouldn't offend the gambling site as they seek traffic anyway. (In Most Cases) thx M1
Both the sites in your signature have NOT been removed from google: http://209.85.229.132/search?sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&q=cache:http://www.tldblogger.com/ and http://209.85.229.132/search?source...278AU278&q=cache:http://www.seo-watch.org.uk/
I suggest you go to Google Webmaster support forum to find out what exactly is the problem: Google Crawling, indexing & ranking. Without finding out the actual cause, it would be hard to work out a solution. But if you have any inappropriate link, simply remove it or find another template, as others suggested. Some months back my directory disappeared from Google SERPs, and I didn't even know what the problem was. I went there to report the matter and seek support. They helped me instantly to find out that when GoogleBot last crawled my directory, the site suffered a MySQL freeze and the server didn't send out any 503 Header. So the Bot crawled and cached the error. They were so kind to help me every bit of the way. Within a few days my directory was back on SERPs.
