My site was predicted PR6 but just updated to PR2

    it takes time to get to the correct PR especially when you have a lot of backlinks. If I'm not mistaken statcounter.com go down to almost PR 5 for a while on the last update but then jump to PR 10 and now PR 9.

    I agree with everyone else, I do not think that page rank prediction tools are worthwhile at all. I consistently see my site with a predicted pagerank of 5 or 6 and I stay right at 4 and have been there for a long time.

    What has changed though is how I rank for keywords which are important to me. That has been a positive move.

    Just keep on building those links and otherwise improving your site and it will go up. If I am not mistaken the age of a domain is a factor in determining page rank.

    I know I post a huge thread a couple of month ago about PR meaning everything but I'm beginning to agree with most of you. It doesn't mean ANYTHING.
