    Hello

As i see your problem this is due to not select the proper keyword. IF you are able to rank your website with your targeted keyword then there is no option that you will not get the traffic. Please try this technique and let me know about the improvement. In case of any assistance you can contact us at http://www.synapseinteractive.com

I just checked Google Keyword Tool for that keyword and the Global Monthly Searches for that keyword in EXACT searches is 1,900.

You must have checked this keyword doing "broad" search which is 33,000. Between 33,000 and 1,900 there's obviously a huge difference. When conducting keyword research always use Google Keyword Tool in "exact" searches to get a clearer idea of how many searches a month are for a keyword.

If you reach #1 ranking you'll likely see a small increase of traffic to your site. From my computer your website http://www.bestonlinebusinessguide.net is ranked #2 for "best online business".

Hope this helps, best of luck

Your situation is quite tricky but I think your keywords might be the culprit. How popular are your keywords? Chances are its only you finding your site and at the top simply because you get to type your exact keywords, not many are doing the same.

Google keyword tool computation of how many searches that a particular keyword gets is not the exact number. It can be higher or lower. Try to check it on other keywords tool and compare.

Sometimes it depends on the keywords, you need to do some keyword research to chck that that keyword is profitable, it could also be that you are looking at the search results from a specific country domain of Google, and they all have different results depending on which country's Google domain you are looking at
