Hello! I've created a new site, which took me some good solid hours of coding, but here it is! Initially a marketing experiment, to test how successful viral marketing really is. How are you monetizing it? Are you just collecting email addresses and going to sell it? Or do you not plan on monetizing it?
I think you need to make it more obvious what the site is about. From reading the about page, it's a contest to see who can get the most visitors to hit a certain link right?
Will is right. I read the 'About' page AND the 'Tips' pand and I still have no idea what your site is about. For example, exactly what is it that you call a "soul" and what do we do with them once we've collected them?
What is all this business about sould. I think you may want to clarify things up a bit more that it is now. At this point tin time, people won't be able to tell waht the site is about.
Hmmm quite a few people have questioned the concept.. The idea behind it is that it's a marketing experiment. It's going to test the capabilities of viral marketing. So to break it down, I start off with an account -> I advertise in my sig and other places -> People click it and have their "soul" taken (Which is just a gimmick) -> (hopefully) They're intrigued and sign up -> Process repeated for every other person. So basically it will expand rapidly, and my site will gain visitors. I also give incentive by offering $100 every month to the person with the most souls stolen. Is it clearer now? I will not sell the emails I get to spammers, as some of you have thought. I will try monitising it by selling text links and paid ads like google adsense or clicksor.
