Hello, This is my site http://teenagelove.awardspace.com It had title tag "Teenage Love Advice" and was ranking 2-3 page for keyword "Teenage Love". But I changed the title to "Teenage Love" and now it is gone from ranking fom this keyword. I thought being more specific will help. What do I do now? Any title suggestions? It is in SER index and not supplemental but regular. It has pr NA but thats because its very new. What do I do?
i have same problem, i was on the top of second page, i changed title and it went the third page, and then i reverted back to the old title same position still
I suggest you wait, may be you will see your site back. Another thing, google love new content and therefore give a New Content Boost to new sites and new pages, this boost helps them rank high in search results. But this boost is only temporary. May be your site too got this boost and now your site is vanish. I suggest you build lots of back links, this will help your site to get a stable search results placement.
When you change the title of a page it can take a few weeks to stabilize to a new position. The #1 biggest mistake folks make in SEO is expecting instant results. Spend some time building backlinks using "Teenage Love" and wait a few weeks to see the results. good luck
Remember that most of backlinks you built was probably optimised for old title. When you changed title drop occured, and it was natural. If you have decent number of backlinks optimised for old title I would advise you to change title back and wait 'till position will go up again. Otherwise you can start building backlinks optimised for new title.
Make sure your link text contains "Teenage Love" but varies. i.e. "Teenage Love Advice", "Love Advice for Teenagers", etc. It is important to vary your link text.
Have you tried to change the tag back to "Teenage Love Advice" so that it can rank again in the 2-3 page for keyword "Teenage Love".
