My Site ranking going down.

    Hello Everyone,

    I am doing optimization of horse related site http://www.irisoverseas.com

    The problem is that the site was ranking well on Horse Rugs and Saddlery Products Keyword 3 weeks earlier, then suddenly it has gone down on these keywords below 100.

    Last Friday(4th July 2008), the site was ranking 95 in google for Horse Rugs keyword, but now on Monday(7th July 2008), it is ranking 124.

    I am doing directory submission, forum posting and social bookmarking.

    Is something wrong in my optimization policy?.What can I do to improve its position. Please guide.

    You need to build some quality backlinks, try other horse related websites and blogs; commenting on the blogs and minor link exchanges with the other horse sites. Also, unique quality content goes a far distance.

    Sounds like you have been included in googles supplemental index.
    I agree with ssandecki you need some more quality backlinks.

    It's happens sometime you need update your website and do proper work and YES get more quality back links it will help you

    You need to get more backlinks for sites. if you do optimization properly, in next google update site will get more backlinks and ranking will be up.

    build some backlinks via do follow blogs. Search for horse related blogs or animal blogs and make sure they are do follow. also consider writing articles about your products and posting them on http://www.ezinearticles.com. I've written a basic guide for beginners who are new to creating backlinks it has a blogging focus but the strategies are equally useful for website owners the article is entitled Earn Money Online Blogging

    Consider creating a blog about horse racing, Betting, Tips etc, it will help you in promoting your website and build links.

    Have you tried doing some article submission since you haven't mentioned on that. It will help. Other than that, can't say much except for you to continue adding fresh content and working on the back links.
