My site not indexed bacause of meta keywords??

My site is about 3 months old....When i was making the site I was checking out google for the keyword I was trying to optimize for, which is "Credit Repair"
I was watching the sites that rank well in google. I found this site called
mix6.com which ranks #4 in google for credit repair and decided to try all of their keywords in my meta tag as it is in their site....It was about 800 keywords. I am a newbie but When I saw that it looked retarted to me but i figured if it is working for them it might work for me too.....I took all keywords as it was changed it very little and put it in my meta tag...
I think that was the reason why msn, yahoo and Google were not indexing my site All but the home page.... Is this likely that by putting sooo many keywords in my meta I was setting off a lfag in search engines which made them not want to index me?
SO anyways I took it off a few days ago and now I have about 7 words in my keyword meta... I havn't been crawled since I made the change but I really think that no one was indexing my site because of all those keywords..but how is mix6.com/credit ranking #4 ?????
my credit repair site is yourbestcreditrepair.com

I'm afraid, it will need a long time for your site to be well ranked : Your site is really, really young for such competitive keywords (564452 searches last month - info overture-).
Prepare the future, optimize your site a lot. But don't hope to have visitors next weeks with those keywords. Time and work, it's the price to pay...

haven't you ever heard of sand box ? There are a lot of threads about it. Go to "search engines" to have a precise idea of what I mean.

I have heard about the sand box but it is usally 3 months from what I understand And my site is older than that. I am sure it will take me time to optimize for my keywords... but why is it taking sooo long to get indexed in any one of the major search engines?

I'm afraid the period for the keywords you target (with google) is longer than that, some speak about nearly one year...

I don't use any meta keywords in my site, as many others told me that it's useless.

Your site is indexed by Google. The latest Google cache of your website is dated December 2, 2006.

Google, MSN and yahoo don't care meta keyword tag, though some other small search engines do. Not indexed is not because of the meta keyword tag. If you site doesn't adopt black techniques like cloaking, doorway pages, hidden text, etc, having backlinks will make it indexed in less than 1 month.

Submit your website to some Social Bookmarkings too and submit your own articles to some Article Directories, and your web will be indexed faster than usual.:)

Your site is indexed already so do not worry about it. Your problem is solved. As for keywords its takes lots of time for site with competitive keywords.

Frankly, I didn't believe when you said 800 keywords in 1 meta keywords tag, but have to believe after seeing that...

"Credit repair" is a very competitive term. Don't expect to rank anytime soon. Although you can submit to as many directories as you can find, submit many articles, and spend a lot of time building back links.

Try not to "completely" focus on "credit repair" term when building back links. Use other keywords as well. That will make the linking look more natural.

Do a back link search for the sites you wish to compete with and if possible get links from sites which are linking to these sites. That should help.
    Best of luck.
    Bye:)

hey thanks a lot. I realized yesterday that my site is finally indexed in both yahoo and google. I think what did it for me was the fact that I removed all those keywords from my meta and I also got a bunch of backlinks (they only show up in yahoo as of now) but the hardest part is still ahead and that is ranking..... For all you who say I have to much ads and I gear so much towards adsense and not towards credit repair...Is because I am kinda broke A$$ right now And eventhough I do work hard on all the content on my site, making sure its relevent, up to date and the tactics work. I still need to pay rent soon, car insurance past due, cellphone..food..... (dag I wasnt supposed to think about that till after newyears...)
But yeah I kinda need to leave the ads up for now..
