My site no longer ranks for it's own name

My site won't rank for it's own name and is no longer found on any of the keywords/phrases that it has been found before. It does rank first for the www.mysitename.com search though... Am I banned from google or something? Can anyone tell me what's going on?

You can check if you're banned for google here :

If animeseer.com your site ? If yes, I can see it's not ranking for its name...

Yes, that's the one. I don't appear to be banned but I still don't rank for my own name. A name that is... very... "Weird" and "unique" I guess. Penalty maybe? It's weird since I'm not in ANY of the pages... =/

..since you are a new site or have been aggressive on SEO Poodle has probably sandboxed you to see if your site really comands the attention you are giving it through SEO. You could be sandboxed for up to 6 months!

I had seen many webmasters involving in paid links reported the same issue after the PageRank Update 2008. I don't think its a mater of sandbox !!
