I don't know what went wrong, but today I notice that if I type slo-foto in google my main site it's not indexed on google:

    This should be result:
    keywords: slo-foto
    results www.slo-foto.net

Now the result point me to:
    www.slo-foto.net/forums.html

Anyone has any idea what could went wrong?

How old/new is your site? It may be in the Google sandbox.

Google has many datacenters, so your position may vary in each one (or not appear if they are rebuilding their DB).

At Google.com I see www.slo-foto.net/index.php?newlang=english listed as number one for your keyword. No problems here...

LOL, it also has hundreds of thousands of pages indexed. I don't think you're gone from google.

I went from position 14 to 500+ in a couple of days about a week ago. I thought they are reworking their algorithm, but now I noticed that there was a problem with my sitemap.

I'd try going back to basics, and make sure your sitemap hasn't been hijacked...that happened to me once.

Well your homepage is in Slovenian. So Google doesn't want that page to show up too high in their English rankings. When I search for slo-foto it does bring up the English version first. Perhaps when you checked earlier it was still shuffling things around.

Perhaps you should make sitemap to submit to Google webmaster tools. That is a good way to try to resolve any indexing issues.

    Thx for helping me.

My sitemap has been submited to google webmaster few years ago. We had some problems with our server which was down for half of hours few times per day.

Even if I search my site for Slovenian rankings www.slo-foto.net/forums.html is first result, not root directory.

I also checked google webmaster diagnostics and I saw that google has last time crawl site on 5th September?!
Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Sep 5, 2008

    This is message from google:
It looks like the problem is in sitemap:
But if you check sitemap manualy I don't see any problem:
    http://www.slo-foto.net/sitemap.xml
    http://www.slo-foto.net/sitemap-gallery.xml

Thank you all for your help, it means a lot to me!
