    Either your server provider has been hacked or you are running an exploit script

    Be thankful they are hacking sites and not blowing up buildings.

    <meta name="generator" content="WordPress 2.0.1" />

    Code (markup):
    If that is correct, you need to update to the latest stable version that has no known remote exploits. Otherwise, the little muppets will deface it again very easily.

    Oh Abu 3mar, when will you learn?? :rolleyes:

    Seriously, though, you're almost certainly running a script that has a known exploit. From the looks of it, you have WordPress 2.01. Try upgrading to the latest. After that, make sure any plugins you're running in WP are also up to date. Simple as that.

    Depending on how much access you have to the server, it might be worth checking apache logs to see what addresses have accessed your site and what they did once they were in, if you do not have access you could ask your provider to send apache logs for your domain ......

    It may not be a software exploit, although this is often the first thing that comes to mind, shared hosting can be very insecure, there are scripts out there that can run any command as root without any hacking knowledge or even knowledge of the software you're using.

    Lastly, you're going to be a target for idiots like this, suggestions would be get a watertight host, don't buy something cheap, if you can then disable ftp access to your site when youre not working on it, run the most restrictive version of php that you can, and log all visits.

    Well, if my site gets hacked and I find out who did it I will pay better hackers to hack them back and put a linkback to my site. ;)
