Hey everyone, just wondering whats going on with google.....i run a mortgage brokerage and my site is doing quite well on yahoo for some pretty popular keyword search words and strings. Problem is on Google I get absolutely no page rank for my site and the keywords that work for Yahoo, definately dont work for my site on Google.

Also, I noticed that Google shows some ridiculously bad or informative websites in its searches when mine should definately be ahead of these. I think their search technology is garbage when I see some of the sites that pop up.

Ive submitted sitemaps, made my site seo friendly, yadda yadda, but my non existent google ranking is bothering me after having the site up for 5 months now.

Can anyone help me out here??

    Thanks in advance.

build more links and quality content, you'll raise in google then.

website is Torontomortgagesite.com. I also own 5 other domains which are parked and pointing to the main site. Is there anyway I can use these to my advantage in search engines?

    Thanks for your help...

and there is your problem Google does not like interlinking like that your site is more than likely penalized in fact im 100% certain it is

remove the redirects and then submit a re-inclusion request in google webmaster tools

Patience is the key in SEO dear. Work hard and leave everything for the search engines to decide. In any case, Google's algorithm are the most difficut to crack. So, enjoy your rakings in Yahoo for the payment, and you will reap rich dividends in Google in the times to come.

    Thanks

no amount of SEO is going to help him here he is doing one thing that Google frowns upon by redirecting parked domains to his main site. Until he removes the redirects and submits a re-inclusion request he will get no where in google

then forget about your website doing well in google

you are breaking one of their terms and your site will remain penalised until you remove the redirects

What would happen if you removed the redirects, and make each of the other 5 websites a blank page with an "Enter Here" or "Enter Site" link in the center of the page. I guess this might make your sight appear fishy to visitors. Just a thought.

Well after a few months Google has ranked my site quite high for some pretty good keyword phrases. Yahoo is way ahead though ranking my site in the top 10 for many good phrases.

Ive also noticed the redirects have been picked up too in searches.
