So, I updated my site greenmowers.org. Google then catches it. I fall in rankings, but now I seem to have an issue. In Firefox on my laptop my site ranks third for Green Mowers on the first page (a good increase in rankings) while in internet explorer on my laptop my site is third on the second page of google for Green Mowers. But thats not all. On my phone in Firefox I rank 3rd on the second page when on wifi, but in 4g I am last on the 1st page of google in Firefox. What on earth is going on!?
Whenever you do a new search clear all the cookies cache and history etc and log out of any accounts As its your website you have more than likely been on it or working on it and search engines can remember this and will rank the sites you go to more often higher - hence your site coming up higher on the browsers you use more often. This happened to me with one of my sites. I was ecstatic when I search one of my key phrases and come up at number one. I deleted cookies etc and sure as hell was back to the normal position !
Cookies are not the problem because you are open your website in different browser/OS. May be you are using any black hat services. To check your website exact rank, take the help of seo software.
just log out the webmasters tools, then check it also you can check by Google.in, Google.co.uk, Google.ca etc..
3rd spot on page 2 for me. Looks like there are some weak sites on page one for this kw that you should be able to outrank. Good luck!
